Together with the FP6 RIPKA and INTAS SCRIPTS projects, the BRUIT consortium held an innovation policy training workshop on two topics “Restructuring of public R&D institutions” and “Innovation Policy Monitoring”.

Over 45 people attended the event, hosted by the G.M. Dobrov Centre for Scientific and Technological Potential and Science History Studies, including representatives from the Ukrainian Agency for Investment and Innovations, Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Economics, Ministry of Industrial Policy, State Committee of Statistics and Parliament.

Prior to the event, innovation policy experts from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine prepared country briefing reports detailing the current situation in their countries concerning restructuring of public R&D institutions and policy monitoring.

With the support of Prof. Slavo Radosevic (Assystem) and Prof. Lena Tsipouri (University of Athens), these topics were discussed in detail during the workshop and conclusions and recommendations reported.
